Every year we organize GATE (Golden All-round Talent Exposition) competitions at grade and inter-house levels for our school students in which they showcase their ability to excel in the various arenas provided.

The event that comprised of multiple activities was categorized in two groups i.e, Intellectual skill, Performing Arts.

Some of the events included are   Painting, music, dance, oratory, poetry writing, essay writing, Just-a-Minute, pencil-sketch, social project, storytelling, poster making, Classical dance, Vocal music, Instrumental music, Art from waste, Pot painting, Clay modeling, Greeting card making, Art from waste, Choreography, Fashion parade etc.,  These events help our students work in teams, to bond and to try their hand at something new!

The event was held for two days. The first competition of the GATE 2017 was Classical dance which was started after the formal inauguration on January 26, 2017 with the Flag hoisting. From then the campus became vibrant with so much of activities, preparations, fun and frolic. The seniors worked tireless day and night teaching the juniors of their houses by motivating and guiding them.

Experts from various fields were invited to judge the competition and announce the winners. The scoring board kept in the school ground, displaying and updating the house scores after the announcement result of each became the centre of attraction for all the students.

The last competition of the two days event was Fashion parade. The students stunned the audience with their professional ramp walk and beautiful attire. The two days gala came to an end with the formal valedictory function in which the prizes were distributed to the winners.

The Shield for the Overall championship was won by the SRIVATSA House and the ATHREYA were the runners o0f the GATE 2017
