Kiddival is an annual competition for children from Lower Kindergarten to Fifth Standard. Pupils  from schools in Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari Districts participate in the competition which is conducted by Rm.K.V. in association with Rotary Club of Tirunelveli West and Tirunlveli Venuvanam .

Now in its twenty third year the competition provides a platform to showcase the children’s talents in competitions which include Handwriting, Quiz, Pencil Sketching, Fancy Dress, Group Dance, Classical Dance, Singing, Elocution, Instrumental Music, Essay Writing and Fashion Parade.

Over 1,250 pupils from 60 schools took part in this extravaganza and the Jayendra pupils did themselves proud with their enthusiastic approach and zest for performance.

Their fantastic efforts – together with those of the staff – were rewarded when Sri Jayendra were crowned overall winners of Kiddival 2013.

Notable performances included:

First place in Fancy dress, Crayon Colouring, Classical and Non-classical Vocal Music, Non-Classical Instrumental Music, and Quiz.

Second place in Classical Instrumental Music, Thirukural Recitation

Third place in Bharatanatyam, Non-Classical Dance and Pencil Sketching

Next day The whole School warmly applauded the competitors in assembly when our Principal congratulated and appreciated the winners and praised the staff and all the participants for their performance.
