This year the Viswas quiz, which always causes much excitement and interest, was held on 21st February. This was the fifth consecutive year that  the Rotary Club of Tirunelveli West has organised the quiz which is held in memory of Mr. Rmk.Viswanathan of RmKV Group.

Thirty seven teams from schools in Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts took part. The Quiz master, Mr. Manova Raja, CEO of Fragrhen Academy, held everyone’s attention with his skilful handling of the occasion.

After the preliminary rounds the two teams from our school comprising Ramswarnapiyan (class 9), Sri Siva Murugan and Balaji (class 8) and Selvamuthu Balaji (class 7) were on stage for the Finals. The questions were from different fields like Science, Entertainment, Politics and Sports.

The event culminated with an award winning ceremony where winning teams received cash prizes and certificates of excellence. Our school teams stood in second and third place: a praiseworthy performance

The function was held in the Air conditioned Priory Conference Hall which proved to be an excellent venue for such an event: grateful thanks were recorded by the dignitaries of Rotary Club.
