Excursions are a regular feature of our school curriculum. We believe that field trips and excursions serve a valuable purpose: they expose children to new environments, help them to see new things and to see familiar things in new ways.

Educational trips make a welcome break from school routine, not only giving pupils a chance to enjoy a day away from the classroom but also an opportunity to build closer bonds with their classmates and their teachers. The teachers learn more about their pupils as they seem them in a different environment.

This year we have scheduled the trips so that only a single section is taken on a given day. With the resulting small numbers we can give much more care and attention to the pupils to ensure a comfortable journey  and a more meaningful experience.

Visit include Courtalam Eco park, Manapadu Beach, Papanasam, Vattakottai, Kanyakumari, Ettayapuram, Tuticorin, Panchalankurichi.

Before a trip our teachers give the pupils a clear idea about the place to be visited using PowerPoint presentations. Creative worksheets are given for pupils to complete after the excursion. From the feedback we receive and the reaction of the pupils we are in no doubt they have a joyous experience which is relished to its best: it will definitely be cherished in future.
