National Science Seminar – III Prize at the State Level

In recent years our pupils have been performing very well in Science Seminar.  This year also, Ayush,  a  X standard student of our school was selected at the District level to represent the Tirunelveli District at the State Level Competition.  64 students from 32 schools  participated at the district level and Ayush was one among the two selected to the next level that is the State Level Seminar.

The State Level Science Seminar was held in Chennai on the 9th of September. 60 toppers from the various districts of Tamilnadu took part in it. Ayush won the Third Position.  Ayush narrowly missed the First Place which would have got him the chance to take part in the National Level Competition. Any way winning a Prize in the State Level Competition is not an easy task!

They outshone all the other teams at every level and reached the finals where they finished second. However, our team’s overall scores and outstanding performance thoughout the competition earned them the ‘Best All Round Performers’ trophy. Sivamurugan and Sruthy were each awarded a silver medal and a watch for their second position along with a runner-up trophy to the school.

They were also given a gold coin for their best performance in the overall quizzing event.
