Meet Lalith Renu – Our Young Trekking Enthusiast!

We are excited to share the incredible journey of Lalith Renu, a 1st standard student at our school, who has a deep passion for trekking. Lalith, also known as “Kutty Trekker,” started her hiking and climbing adventures at the age of just 3!

Her love for trekking began four years ago when she visited the beautiful hill station of Chirumalai. Since then, with the constant support of her parents, she has trekked over 30 mountains across India, including places like Sathuragiri, Velliangiri hills, Parvathamalai, Thoranamalai, and many more in Tamil Nadu. She has also explored hills in Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, and Kerala, including Kedarnath, Manasa Devi, Brahmagiri, Harishchandragad, and Sabarimala!

Lalith continues to trek once or twice a month, and her next big adventure is the Everest Base Camp expedition, which her parents are planning for May 2025! At just 6 years old, she dreams of trekking to the Himalayas, and her parents are fully supportive of this amazing goal.

Let’s all wish Lalith Renu the best as she continues to chase her dreams and explore the world, one trek at a time!
