Last week, our school celebrated a heartwarming and joyous Kindergarten Day (Kids Day), a day filled with creativity, fun, and learning. The event began with a soulful prayer song, beautifully sung by a group of UKG children, setting the tone for an event that would be full of talent and excitement.

The little ones from LKG captivated everyone with their mind-blowing rhyme recitations. What made it even more special were the pictures they displayed, beautifully painted by our talented art masters, making each rhyme come to life. It was truly a visual and auditory treat!

A unique segment of the day saw children dressed up as various fruits, coming together as the “Fruit Squad.” They shared insightful talks about the values and benefits of different fruits, imparting knowledge in a fun and creative way.

One of the most memorable moments was when a young child narrated the entire story of the Ramayana, complete with stunning illustrations. The way the child brought the epic to life touched the hearts of everyone in the audience.

The event also showcased the remarkable skills of our young stars, as they presented Tamil and English tongue twisters with ease. There were also delightful English and Tamil skits, as well as scenes from popular fairy tales, adding variety and excitement to the program. A special highlight was that every child from the Kindergarten participated, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our KG department staff.

The background music for all the performances was provided by our talented school choir, enhancing the atmosphere with their melodious tunes.

We were honoured to have Dr. Premachandran, a renowned General Physician, as the chief guest of the function. His presence added prestige to the event, and he thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the performances. As a veteran singer and Tamil literature enthusiast, Dr. Premachandran delighted the audience with two beautiful Tamil songs that conveyed important life values.

In the final moments, each child was presented with a beautiful momento as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Our Principal delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, the staff, and most importantly, the children, for making the event such a grand success.

Kindergarten Day 2025 was a beautiful celebration of talent, creativity, and values. It was a day that will be remembered by all who attended, a day where every child had their moment to shine!
